Two home games to kick start our season got off to a rocky start. Due to the relentless rain over the last few weeks, we have been unable to kick a ball of late, so we were very keen to get game on this dry night. Unfortunately, it seemed initially that once again things were going to run against the master's team as the only pitch allocated had busted floodlights. Luckily the lights for the rear pitch were working and we were able to play on there once we had carried out minor repairs to the crappy nets.

The first game for Bayside was O35s vs Rochdale and it got off to a shaky start with Bayside not setting well into the game. However, things settled, and at halftime, we switched to a 4-4-2 and started opening up the pitch and scoring well. End result is 5-0. The ref gave a blue card to Phil for asking a question(?!) and made up some rule about the 10mins only counting for Ball in play. (not in 2021 rules anywhere).

The second game for Bayside was Sochial vs Centery McStormyFace. Which progressively got more and more one-sided as the scoreline dictated. Goal scorers were spread throughout 5 different players, only 1 hat trick. They also got a blue card for an altercation with 'googles'.

Great game to watch, and couldn't have had a better start for both teams.

(45's game was postponed, they were due to play away at Lions)
